b) Unstable Character
People with unstable character are individuals who allow themselves to be ruled by situational ethics. In other words, their character is governed by the situation they find themselves in.
The problem with people of unstable character is that they fall short in the arena of integrity. You cannot trust their word because they can change in a moment without any regard for the promises that they made in the first place. They are easily swayed by the opinions of others. They will go with the flow of the crowd for the moment. They are double-minded and have difficulty when it comes to making decisions.
A double minded man is unstable in all his ways (James 1:8).
A person with an unstable character seldom lives by principles, because he feels trapped by a set of rules. Recognition and esteem are quite important; he thrives on adoration and glory clouds.
They do not care about the people they hurt in their hunt for promotion; they will do whatever it takes to get to the top. Unfortunately, you might not recognize them until after they hurt you because they are a master of disguise. They pretend to be something that they are not. So once you fall into their trap, you are bound to get hurt at some point in your relationship with them.
