Team Destiny

Team Destiny is a group of dynamic ministers of the Word of God who share a passion for provoking and developing personal and leadership Excellence. The team consists of ordained ministers and highly qualified men and women in the arenas of business, finance and science. Using biblical principles and personal experience Team Destiny presents seminars such as:

These seminars are designed to thrust individuals onto a higher level challenging them to pursue a lifestyle of excellence according to heaven’s standard. The team shares practical principles tried and tested over many years of ministry to inspire leaders to lead with excellence.

		Warren van der Merwe B.Com (Wits), B.Com (Hons in Tax) (Wits), M.Com (Wits), CA(SA)
		Warren served one year of academic articles at the University of the Witwatersrand before completing his articles at Arthur Andersen. After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, he joined a leading South African investment bank where he concluded numerous funding deals amounting to billions of Rand. After more than six years at the bank, Warren was offered a position as Chief Financial Officer of a private equity company which makes its own private equity investments and manages a private equity fund and a mezzanine debt fund on behalf of local and international investors.
This is his current position.Warren holds a Bachelor of Commerce , a Bachelor of Accounting with Honours in Taxation and a Master of Commerce through the University of the Witwatersrand. He also holds a diploma in Theology. At age 23 Warren underwent a radical transformation when he recommitted his life to Jesus Christ – he encountered God alone at his dad’s office one night. Since then he has been actively involved in his local church serving as leader of an outreach team and a home fellowship group. He now focuses on a teaching ministry that encourages excellence in leadership. His main passion is for Christians to be real and to know Jesus in a real way.

	Wendy van der Merwe B.Sc (Wits), B.Sc (Hons in Maths)
	Wendy currently works as a Senior Scientist developing technological solutions for the mining industry. She graduated with a BSc degree and Honours in Mathematics (Cum Laude). She also holds a diploma in Theology. After being actively involved in her local church for a number of years, marrying her God-ordained husband and leading fellowship groups she discovered a call on her life to teach God’s Word and does so in seminars and churches around South Africa and abroad.Her down to earth yet dynamic style of ministering is refreshing and reflects the uniqueness of her relationship with the Lord.
